2000 · ADVERTISING First, Other People’s Stories TUVA is rooted in advertising. For years we shaped the form, tone and posture of other brands. Those years — where aesthetics was our profession — later defined the language of our own pieces.
2022 · TRANSFORMATION Then, Our Own Material In 2022, twenty-two years of experience sought its own object and found it in acrylic. A single heat-bent sheet became a form that lets a room breathe and carries light through itself.
TODAY · SIGNATURE And Our Own Signature Every piece is made one by one in our Istanbul atelier, to the dimensions of a single order. Not mass production — a limited practice with a signature behind it.
MATERIAL · 01 It Does Not Stop Light Acrylic transmits 92% of light — more than glass. The piece occupies the room without darkening it; in small spaces it pushes the walls back.
MATERIAL · 02 Cast in One Piece No screws, no plugs, no joints. A heat-bent monoblock body has no weak point — and no joint that will loosen or creak with the years.
MATERIAL · 03 It Carries Light Acrylic takes light at its edge and conducts it through the body. Glass cannot. In our illuminated pieces what glows is not a bulb — it is the material itself.
MATERIAL · 04 It Holds Its Structure Wood takes on moisture, metal fatigues, glass breaks. Acrylic holds its body for life; the years do not age it.
MATERIAL · 05 Scale Outgrows the Mould Because the sheet is heated and bent, any dimension is possible. There is no factory mould; your space states the measure and the atelier casts accordingly.
