PLACES
YOUR OWN ROOM

TUVA's showroom is your own living room.

There are four ways to meet our works. Three come to you; the fourth awaits you.

THE RULE OF TRANSPARENCY

What is transparent reveals itself only where it lives.

The value of acrylic lies not in itself but in its relations. It shows the wall behind it, carries the pattern of the rug beneath it, refracts the late afternoon light, opens the volume of a room. When you look at it, you are in fact looking at your own space.

This is why a TUVA work cannot speak for itself on a neutral floor under uniform lighting. The only place it can speak is the place it will live in: your room, your light, your floor.

So we bring the work there.
We invite you not to a window, but directly to the result.

THE FIRST DOOR

THE SPACE READING

YOUR OWN SPACE

Where a work belongs is not decided from a distance. Upon invitation, we come to your space.

Measurements are taken. The direction of the light through the day is noted. The texture of your floor and the relation the work will form with your existing pieces are considered. The sample box is opened, and you see the material in your own light.

At the end of the visit we leave you a signed space note: your measurements, your light, and which work belongs in that room — with the reasoning behind it.

Complimentary within Istanbul · This is an introduction; the decision remains yours
Beyond Istanbul, travel arrangements are discussed in advance.
THE SECOND DOOR

THE SAMPLE BOX

TO YOUR ADDRESS

If you are away from Istanbul, the atelier travels to you. Inside the sealed box is everything a screen cannot convey.

Acrylic sections in varying thicknesses, a polished edge sample, a bend sample, black wood and coloured shelf swatches, and a colour chart for our illuminated series. Beside them, a handwritten card.

Keep the box in your home. Look at it in morning light and again under a night lamp. The decision comes afterwards.

The cost of the box is credited in full against your first order
Prepared upon application · Dispatch arranged for your destination
THE THIRD DOOR

Where the works are seen

A TUVA work is seen while it is working. Before a camera, inside a space, in the living room of a home. A selection of the places they have been.

BEFORE THE CAMERA
BROADCAST · STUDIO
TRT MÜZİK

Nothing reveals how transparent forms behave on camera better than studio light. Our works became part of the frame in Türkiye's national broadcast studio.

TUVA · STUDIO PLACEMENT
PRODUCTION · SET DESIGN
OGM PICTURES

Used in the interior of a television production, our works took on the function of a real living space within a fictional one. The table on screen came out of our atelier.

YOUR HOMES

The final address of a work is a home, not a window.

Studio light is temporary and sets are struck. What endures is the place where a work meets the same light from the same angle each morning.

The true TUVA collection is not displayed in a shop. It lives in Istanbul, in Ankara, in Izmir and beyond these borders — in rooms whose names we know. For us, this is the most valuable archive of all.

THE TUVA ARCHIVE
Send us your work as it stands in your home. Selected frames are accepted into the permanent archive of the house, under your name or your district alone.
THE FOURTH DOOR

THE ATELIER VISIT

ISTANBUL

The first three doors come to you. This one awaits you.

Luxury has a bench rather than a window. Our atelier opens two days a week, to a limited number of appointments. Here you see how acrylic is bent, how an edge is polished, and why a single work takes weeks.

The visit is an introduction. You may meet the material and simply leave — most visitors do, and most return.

By appointment only · Two days a week · Eight visitors a month
The atelier is at work; you will hear the masters at their benches.
APPLICATION

Which door would you like to enter?
